D - for dumb humor - Wedding Crashers Reviews

I am simply let down everytime I get talked into going to an american made comedy. Who's rating these comedy movies... post pubescent boys and girls? I guess if you think bare breasted women, stupid cliches' and just plain dumb writing is funny... more power to you. I'll stick to the foreign comedies, until Hollywood can produce something more funny than this type of garbage.

A real review - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

Terminator 2: Judgement Day show arnold schwarzennegger doing what he does best, blowing stuff up. because the role of the terminator doesnt require much acting (which arnold cannot do) blowing stuuff up is basically al he does. however linda hamilton and edward furlong more than make up for arnolds lack of acting especially hamilton, whos buffed up in her mental insttitute to prepare for a possible war. The way she poretrays sarah conner is amazing: paranoid, strong, and sometimes very dangerous. edward furlong plays john conner, who runs away with ahnold after being attacked by the t-1000(robert Patrick). Furlong also plays his role well, portraying a boy who is lost: no real mom, dad, etc. That pretty much somes up the acting which i gave an A minus. now for the story. the story is more or less the same as The Terminator, where a terminator is sent back to kill sarah conner and her son john. As u may know, terminator failed in part one, where john wasnt even born. In T2, arnold returns, this time as the good guy, to protect joihn conner, who is living with his foster parents because his mom(sarah conner) is in the mental institution after letting everyone know about the terminators. Arnolds mission to protect john is because another terminator, the T-1000 (played by robert patrick) has been sent from the future to kill john, who in the future, saves mankind from the rise of the machines. the other part of the story of T2 is judgement day, the day that the machines take over. in T2, sarah, john and arnold try to prevent this from happenning by destroying all of the research done by dyson, the person who designs all of the machines in the future and who himself is responsible for 3 billion deaths on judgement day. The story in general deserves an A minus. The direction of this movie does not even need comment, its by james cameron, u figure it ou urself, its great. Now on to the important stuff, the visual effects: No words can describe the feeling of a 2000 like movie that was made in 1991. theyre incredible, the first time i saw this movie i thought that it was made in at least 1997. From the T-1000's liquid form to the nmerous explosions and even a glimpse of judgement day, they are the best that i have ever senn. Aplus. Overall for those reasons this movvie is an a plus. period. see it. u wont regret it.

He said he'd be back... - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

3 Billion lives ended in 1997, Los Angeles. The survivors have to battle against the super-computers. Now two Terminator's have to go back to time, one has to kill the leader of the last human race, John Connor, one has to protect John. The question is which one of them will reach him first. Schwarzenegger, is back, but in a kinder gentler fourm, and not a bad guy. the main bad guy is Robert Patrick's character, the T-1000. He is liquid meatle, stronger, and can imitate anyone in physical contact. Now Sarah Connor is in a mental hospital. John is now a 12 or a 13 year old, played by Edward Furlong. Judgment Day is coming and John, Sarah, and the T-101 have to do whatever it takes to stop Judgment Day from coming. James Cameron once again does a spectacular job on T2! The visuals were far better this time! Loved both Terminator's equaly, but I would recommend T2 even more than the first Terminator.

Awesome - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

This is one of the best movies ever! Everyone should see it. But i dont understand how could there be a T3 if Arnold dies in T2. I cant wait to see T3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's back... - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

The epic continues and the final battle ensues...and he?s back and in black! James Cameron takes his inspiration from "2001: A Space Odyssey" and brings it so much more further by taking us on a grim trip into our devastating future. The interesting storyline, truly awesome special-effects, and compellingly sensitive acting surpass the first by far. To draw the audience's attention, the beginning is similar to the first movie's...still cringing from the bone snaps and crackles. But instead, Arnold gives it a much more cool look and we have the infamous George Thorogood's "Bad to the Bone" for an ultra-stylish beginning. But this time around, he is not the real danger which lurks in a more angelic faced and nearly invincible T-1000, sent back as well from post-apocalyptic 2029 A.D. Primary target: young John Conner, future leader of the human resistance. Two androids, two missions, one target. One is a Terminator, one a protector. Who is who and who will reach John first? Meanwhile, as the trio of John, Sarah, and the protector are endlessly hunted by the Terminator and constantly pursued by the authorities, can humanity?s disastrous fate be prevented? Arnold Schwarzenegger looks and acts so much better in this film. Even if he is good as a bad guy, he is great as a good one. He truly is humanly-robotic WITHOUT looking cheesy as such as Peter Weller in ?RoboCop?. His acting stuck out from all the rest and all eyes are on him. The T-800 is the perfect part for him and his best acting out of all 30 of his starred roles. Linda Hamilton goes for a complete transformation from an innocent young woman to a stone cold criminal, half-crazed from held within a mental institution. Just as in Silence of the Lambs, she is considered a most interesting pawn for publicity from an executive psychiatrist, whose stubborn inability to trust Sarah drives her mad. Furlong makes his debut as young John Conner and does a decent job as well for a 12-year-old, even if his voice is a bit squeaky from hitting puberty. Many may recognize his later role in "American History X". Robert Patrick's impression of the advanced prototype T-1000 is the only popular role he has achieved in his career. The best acting, of course, goes to Arnold for his number one performance of his career. A two-thumbs way up for the governor of California! The special-effects are dazzling and amazing, as they always are in all James Cameron films. From Arnold being shot up revealing his inner-metal skeleton to shape-shifting metal characters. And who could ever forget Arnold and his mini-gun. You even see the grenade propel from the launcher into it?s target if you watch closely. Cameron has crafted, in my opinion, the best sequel ever released. Nothing could match it?s revolutionary effects, techniques, and ideas. The directing, script, acting, soundtrack, cinematography, sound, and special-effects ALL mix together for an amazing result. All action and sci-fi directors get their cues and techniques from James Cameron. But what truly staggered me was the conclusion of this film. This is one of the few movies that did leave me in tears. Even to this day, it will get me every time. He connects you with the machine and John, which never knew his father, embraced him as his own. You grow quite attached the machine and Cameron always had his quirks for dramatic endings. His films are best known for his exceptionally human journeys with many given messages presented throughout the films. Many questions and points are raised in this particular movie. Will our future?s economy and defenses rely solely upon Artificial Intelligence? Could any A.I., given the chance, become self-aware and attempt to destroy us? Could machines ever ?feel?? If we knew our destiny, do we have the power to change it? Which do you believe in more, fate or choice? The main message that James Cameron points to us all, in all of his films, is that human life is more valuable than we treat it...Because in the end, it will be us who will bring upon our ultimate downfall. Terminator 2 - Judgment Day is one of my favorite films and I believe it to be the best sequel ever made...despite T3's disappointment and let-down to all. I am a huge fan of Arnold Shwarzenegger and James Cameron. I would encourage every single living person to buy the special edition on DVD. (Which I long for) It is one of the best of the Action/Sci-Fi genres with some of the best special-effects of its time. It is also the winner of Best Sound, Best Sound Effects, Best Visual-Effects, and Best Makeup in the Academy Awards of ?92. I watched this almost every week in my childhood and it is a landmark in the history film, a cult classic. Arnold wasn?t kidding when he said, ?I?ll be back!? -My Rating: A+ Best Sequel and Action Film - Jerry Johnston

Terminator 2 - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

T2 was so awesome! Arnold is the bomb! T1 and T2, I loved them equally! T3 was not that good. John connor is a teen who discovers that all the terminator stuff that his mom says was true! Now John and Sarah Connor and of course T-101 have to stop Judgement Day from coming. Spectacular visuals for 1991. James Cameron is the master of sequels!! Awesome movie!

Great movie!! - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

The story made sense, alot of action, and they Terminators act like machines (no expressions on face). Great special effects. It was interesting to see John Connor order the Terminator not to kill anyone.

My fav one out of them all. - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

T2 is amazing compared to T1. Don't get me wrong i loved T1 but T2's visual effects were better. It might be my fav cuz it was the first out of the sieries that is saw (then i watched T1 and T2 over again)but i don't think so. It has great chase scences, lots of stuff blowing up, really if anyone says they think it was stupid then they must have brain damage. Even if you're not a Terminator fan you'll still love it!! It's a great action movie.

One of the best movies ever! - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

This action thriller surpasses my wildest dreams in the sci-fi genre. Possibly the best of it's kind and one of the best and most entertaining action movies of all time. Watch it over and over again.

Terminator 2: judgment day - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

james Cameron's superior sequel "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" is, simply put, a spectacularly entertaining film filled with (for its time) marvelous special effects and plenty of thrilling action. It remains one of the best sequels ever made. Thumbs up!

Classic movie - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

I love this movie! It's one of the most entertaining films ever created! I've seen this movie like 100 times and I still enjoy watching it. The terminator series is classic and always will be.

I've written a lot of reviews - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

Many of them use this movie as a comparison. which is because since 1991 there hasn't been a movie as good. One that pulls you into the story that has you feel the feelings of it's characters. One with such intense action and special effects that you leave the experience sweating. If only hollywood could make all it's movies this good. James Cameron is the greatest director and this is his all time masterpiece eventhough Titanic and other movies beat it's box office take.

One of the best action movies i've ever seen - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

This movie boasts great special effects for it's time, and a great cast of characters. I think it's a lot better than the first movie.

T2 was a level up in its day and is still worthy - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

Arnold returned....12 years ago. But then he came back again. But we're talking about then. In T2, the movie that everyone had to see. Because "This Time, There Are Two!" said the voice in every trailer as if we didn't FRIGGIN get it already. But that T-1000. He was a nasty dude, but I dunno, he looked to much like a nice guy. Not like Loken (The TX in T3) shes one tough chick. Anyway, the Liquid Terminator was awesome especially when I first saw him. The effects wre nothing but great. They may even hold up today as good. Thats what parted T2 from other movies. Just because the T2 metal screen that promoted it looked corny like the first one, doesnt mean the in-film graphics were. And hell no they wernt. People had seen nothing like that. Cameron did what The Matrix did. Created a huge technological breakthrough. Oh yea and an inspiring and amzing film. Kudos to you James Cameron. Kudos.

The best review you'll read today... - Terminator 2: Judgment Day Reviews

I boldly step forward and say, "this is the greatest film ever made". A compelling storyline, good acting and masterful directing means this film is a true success by all standards. Although Arnold Schwarzenegger is not a great actor (despite being one of my favourites) he plays the Terminator fantastically. The acting is flawed from Edward Furlong's performance as John Conner, who is unfortunatley not up to scratch, yet still manages to be convincing. Needless to say, James Cameron is a superb director and all of his work is cream of the crop - of course, T2 is no exception. This is a much better work of direction than Cameron's other films; Aliens, The Abyss, Titanic - so you get a rough idea of the standards of this film. The storyline is perhaps not the most in-depth of all time either, although does provide a scary insight into a possible future. The story is very good and well executed meaning that doesn't flaw. If the idea wasn't as well executed, the film may have flawed in this area. Overall, a true masterpiece by anyone's standards. Young and old alike should enjoy this film. If you have not seen this film, then it is a neccesity that you do and is a well worthy addition to anyones DVD collection too.
